Packed and ready to hike, with food and water, is about twenty-four lbs.. I've dropped a pound over last years gear but it still isn't an ultralight set up, strickly speaking. I didn't show my water filter as it died on my last outing. I have to save for a new one. Some may think I take an excessive amount of water but I live in desert country. Although very windy on this day you can see how it is not ideal for these types of conditions.
