Pole Tents and Frame Tents

Oftentimes, events that are held outdoors require portable shelters like tents. However, tents may prove to be expensive, so for one-time events, tent rental companies can provide an inexpensive option. Yet, upon renting tents, you have to keep in mind that there are two basic kinds, which are the pole tents and the frame tents. So you have to find the right kind of tent that will meet your needs, depending on the type of event and the immediate environment.

Upon purchasing or renting a tent for an event, take note that pole tents are usually cheaper than frame tents. Pole tents are also much more portable and easier to set up. These tents can also withstand stronger winds and other weather elements that can affect the structural integrity of the tent.

However, pole tents heavily rely on the use of interior poles, which can prove to be inconvenient for certain cases.

Another setback is that pole tents must have spaces for allowance, since the poles and stakes contain securing materials, such as ropes, that takes more space.

On the other hand, frame tents rented out by companies offering tent rental San Francisco has do not depend on interior poles to be set up, which provide a wider space inside. Frame tents also prove to be a great choice for indoor use where the use of stakes is utterly impossible. These tents can be installed next to buildings or other structures, since they do not have extra securing devices. Plus, they can be set up for permanent use.

Yet, the disadvantage of using frame tents is that special tools and equipments are required on setting up this kind of tent.

If a part has sustained damages or is lost, you have to purchase that part from the manufacturer, or pay penalties to the company that offered tent rental San Francisco has, since frame tents are virtually useless unless they are complete. Also, frame tents are not as portable as pole tents, and require more manpower for set up.

To top it all, pole tents are suitable one-time events, such as festivals, exhibits, parties, auctions, and public service. Frame tents, on the other hand, are ideal for indoor events, or for constant occasions. Companies engaging in tent rental Bay Area houses in can provide you with assistance upon choosing the right tent for your needs.
